It seem like I left this blog dead.

I have actually moved to a new blog a few weeks ago!
I am such a bad blogger cos I never have the time to update. I am forever busy watch a new shows or rewatching an old shows lol. anyway, I am in the middle of moving everything there and making a new layout. I hope to update more often from now onwards as it would be easier for me to manage the blog since it shared the same account with my personal blog. =)

This is not a complete review. Just sharing my thoughts so far!

So I have been watching only you faithfully every day.
It is definitely not my favourite k's role/drama/amy wong's production.

It is not bad. Just something I don't really enjoy that much as compare to the past k's role/drama/amy wong's production. :)

But I like it that they have a wide variety of actors/actresses.

It has been a while since I posted anything! I am still alive and a very much KN fan :)

As usual, **spoiler ahead**

Okay, it has also been a while since I watched a taiwanese drama. Somehow my love for taiwanese drama has die down. I started watching Rice Family because of the wonderful cast! It comprise of my favourite actors and actresses. :) I shall not name them, but whoever know me well should know. :P Hint - They are not in the main family!

I was never a big fan on taiwanese long running drama. It was a toture for me to sit throughout so many episodes. Somehow, taiwanese long running drama do not have the same charrm TVB drama (Long ones I mean) to me. I am the kind of person that can sit throughout 1000 of episodes of AKS and yes, I would rewatch anytime =) But taiwanese drama? Just plain toture.

I don't exactly enjoy rice family, frankly speaking! I have never recall not enjoying a drama so much. There wasn't a single moment I feel very excited and wish to know what happen. True, it started with some dramas. but after a few episodes, I realise there is bound to be some kind of solution to these so-called "drama". The only shocking thing that I was truly shock was that the love child of yi wu & xiao yu is real.

The plot is kinda mess up. It is suppose to be about a family but somehow, there was this person and that person. and they have so much issues? Sometimes, I feel that they simply just switch from one side to another side without any consideration. I expressed the same fustration while watching HOG, but HOG ended up perfectly. Whereas, for rice family, I don't know.. I just feel that there is too many sidetrack.

Touching? I think no. I don't feel particularly touch at any point. Even when the whole family bonded together because of the dad's sickness. Even the love story also don't feel quite touching.

same plot over again. I really hate the parts where they have the same plot over again. Like, megan keep wanting to stay at taiwan even when her mother strongly objected to it.

The ending. At the last second episode, I was wondering... okay, so how it is suppose to end? The conversation between "johnny" and Jiayan that lasted till the last episode was so boring that I didn't even concentrate. I didn't like the ending at all. Some of the actors/actress wasn't around. They just simply send people off without saying what happen to me. Yes, a reunion is old plot but it seems much more complete to have a reunion. If a reunion couldn't happen, at least, a what-is-everyone-doing would be nice. But instead, some characters were simply forget and whoever is there is there. Other than those who are happily married, there seems to be no real happy ending for other lovers/broken heart.

verdict: 2/5 (Not my cup of tea, sorry!)
